Personality:

If we were to classify Mizuki at first glance, he would go under the Friend category. This is not due to the fact that he is a non dateable route in his canon. It's because he gives off the impression of being the friend who listens to you, who bails you out of trouble, or is right in the middle of trouble with you, laughing all the way. He greets his friends with a smile, and generally makes others feel at ease, being around him.

This is, of course, just the surface. While he does care about people, he might care about them too much. Or at least, he cares about his people too much. We learn early on that Mizuki is the leader of the largest Rib teez team, Dry Juice (which is basically a game of guys beating each other up) on the island, and he keeps wanting to bring Aoba to the fold. Aoba refuses, politely, and Mizuki does respect that. However, the fact is, he sees his team not just as a team-he sees them as his family.

Mizuki, having grown up without a family of his own, and having to fight from childhood on for looking different from everyone else, tries to make his own place in the world. He has his business and his passions, the main one being Rib. Every person on his team is part of his family, to be defended and cherished by him and other members. When it is threatened by people leaving for more more interesting hobbies, Mizuki is slowly pushed, emotionally, to make sure more people don't leave, to the point of snapping and making what would otherwise be a stupid decision to track down a dangerous source for help. It ends up with him being controlled, as well as his team. In the routes other than the one that he is taken from, Mizuki ends up with his mind broken, and his body in a coma until the epilogue.

And yet, through out it all, Mizuki goes out of his way not to be a burden. He doesn't tell his friends of his troubles (even when it's pointed out) downplaying it with demurrals and trying to take care of things on his own. Even when he's back to himself, he admits that he screwed up. Abit, his reasoning is and isn't the most sound for going to a dangerous source, saying that he "wasn't strong enough". However, he did admit that he made a mistake, and that he would not repeat himself. Or at least, he would try not to.

What is written above may make it seem as if he can be clingy. This is not so. He does give himself and others plenty of space, and is more likely to bump into someone, maybe invite a friend out-in a very friendly, but polite way. He is not needing his hand held, especially as he is a leader, with his own schedule and priorities. The important part of friendship to him is more that they're willing to be his friend. This is an equal relationship with give and take from both sides. He can, however, be a bit extreme in showing his loyalty to his family of friends, as mentioned above.

Still, there is more than just his friendships and his insecurities. He is also notable for being a tattoo artist, and an admirer of tattoo artist skill. In fact, when given a sketch from his favorite artist, it was promptly put on display in the club, and he spoke of it with happiness and pride.

Mizuki has a lot of things going for him. He is friendly, skilled in many different respects, incredibly loyal, with an easy going demeanor. He does not always succeed in his goals, but he does put in an impressive amount of effort. In short, Mizuki is, and should be, a great dating candidate.

Abilities and Nerfs:

Mizuki, while a formidable fighter, is not stronger than the average human. The only thing that would be considered unusual is the scary amount of sheer determination and stubborn will he possesses. He is known in canon to struggle against mind control that controls others completely in one route, and in others, is known to pull out of a coma that others believed he was unable to revive from due to having his mind broken. Otherwise, he is normal.

Five Desires: Clothing, tattoo tools, art supplies, spare bandages for his throat...maybe something that'll make sure he's immune to mind control??? But he could always punch whoever tries in the face so...
